Promise of Freedom

Another song. I've been writing so much lately. But I choose the good ones to share with you guys here. Thanks for the comments for the previous song. Really appreciate it!
Well, this is a song about how catastrophes change out lives. Wars, natural disasters, everything that cause unrest to the world and for the people who have protected and stood up for us. I wrote this because I felt this guilt, of being okay, of being so much luckier than so many people, and yet complain about the slightest things. I hope you can relate to this song.
Promise of Freedom - MinZ
A father has died
in the bullet
and when he hurts
the world changes
and the Friday nights
those we got so bored of
and they are dying going through those times
*when the promise of freedom
is a promise of lies
don't promise anything that doesn't make it right
take a turn on the table
the one that said no more fights
there's always darkness in light
when humanity collides
#don't know why I'm breathing
can you tell what's this feeling?
It's such a short life
so tragic
everything happened so fast
so fast, so fast
so fast it's not speed
so fast it's only a fear that doesn't last
*
#
You're called a hero and that's when
when you have the guts to shoot and die
under the clouds of ashes
(you're no longer precious)
with your bloody outstretched hands
you know there's no turning back to stop the violence
(you write your pages)
